Make your mark at the world’s largest HVAC company Daikin Applied is seeking a Corporate Communications Specialist who is primarily responsible for helping build and promote the company’s brand among employees to increase engagement and contribute to a stronger culture. They will work in partnership with the rest of the marketing team and coordinate with leaders across the organization to create communications that connect and inspire employees. They will also help manage content in the company’s employee communications platform. The ideal candidate will be a proficient storyteller with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for creating engaging content. This job requires communications expertise and experience as the original author of written and visual materials. A strong interest in technology is essential, business-to-business marketing experience a plus. Location: Hybrid, Plymouth, MN What You Will Do - Work with the communications team to create and implement programs that align employee communications with the company’s strategic vision and brand positioning
- Content development - Write, produce and tailor content for specific audiences, demonstrating a deep understanding of messaging and brand positioning; requires strong writing skills and an ability to work in other mediums
- Exhibit a deep understanding of our company’s brand guidelines, policies and processes
- Coordinate cross-functional campaigns and employee communications projects with relevant departments across the business
- Develop content in a variety of print and digital formats, including emails, blogs, company announcements and employee profiles
- Copyedit, proofread and refine communications
- Coordinate distribution of messages and content through multiple channels, including InsideDaikin, the company’s intranet and communications portal
- Collaborate with vendors — from technology providers to outside agencies and contractors
- Forge connections with department leaders across the business
- Manage relationships with sister companies and subsidiaries

Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts, Journalism, Marketing Communications, Marketing or business-related field
- 3 + years of communication, content marketing, business writing and/or related field
- Content development - Write, produce and tailor content for specific audiences, demonstrating a deep understanding of messaging and brand positioning; requires strong writing skills and an ability to work in other mediums
- Experience with Microsoft Office and SharePoint applications
- Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
- NOTE: Writing and other content samples required
Preferred Qualifications - 5- 8 years preferred B2B communications and corporate communications experience

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $59,500K - $90 ,000K. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
