POSITION – Financial Analyst (onsite)

JOB LOCATION –  Eau Claire, WI

STARTING DATE –  Immediately

EMPLOYMENT TERM – Direct Hire

EMPLOYMENT TYPE –  Full-Time

WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift 

STARTING PAY – $70,000-$80,000 DOE

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – 4+ years of overall Financial experience working as an Analyst is required, accounting experience is a plus (This is not an accounting role). Preference given to those with manufacturing backgrounds.

REQUIRED EDUCATION -  Advanced degree in a relevant field

As a Financial Analyst, you’ll perform quantitative analysis to support budgeting, expense tracking, and financial projects. Oversees financial planning and analysis activities for the manufacturing organization. Supports daily and month-end accounting tasks to maintain proper segregation of duties and enhance internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all financial data required for the preparation of consolidated financial statements
• Prepare and manage internal and external financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Analyze cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments to recommend improvements to financial procedures, plans, and controls
• Oversee the budgeting process, forecasting activities, and cost accounting variance analysis
• Support daily and month-end accounting functions alongside the Staff Accountant to distribute workload and ensure proper segregation of duties per audit and internal control standards
• Report on current and projected financial performance and develop financial models to support strategic decision-making
• Conduct margin analysis (standard vs. actual) and perform fixed asset audits with supporting justifications
• Evaluate historical and current financial performance against budgeted targets and create models to help management assess the financial implications of decisions
• Recommend financial strategies to help achieve the organization’s long-term goals
• Analyze production cost variances and provide actionable recommendations for cost-saving opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline required
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting and finance, with strong preference for a background in manufacturing
• Consistent, reliable attendance is essential for this role
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship requirements
